A resident of Melbourne who is passionate about life, the city, the odd cocktail or three, reading, French onion soup, Milk Chocolate Royals, travel, music and Warner Brothers films of the 1930s and 40s. I am pondering life in general, I never have enough time and I am most decidely excited that Australia has recently had a change of federal government.
I recieved emails from three different friends today regarding a story in The Age that Andy Taylor has left Duran Duran. Sad that they thought they should email me. Possibly worse that I had already fully researched the story before their emails arrived.

I bought tickets on eBay to see Robbie Williams ; I bought them from a Duran Duran fan who had been allocated very good seats via the Duran Duran fan club.
Machine Gun Fellatio opened; not a lot of activity in my section, but it was a fun set.
Duran Duran came on; first song completely offkey.Lots of activity in my section.
Robbie came on; I left my seat (and partner); blagged my way onto the floor and proceeded to try and get to the stage.
Gosh, as I warned; sad
I did a similar thing. Went to Telstra Dome ostensibly to see Duran Duran, and felt strangely old (although not as old as SLB) and then discovered a sudden blazing passion for Robbie.
